Season 1 - The Final Month

Rules Update: 26/7/2016


Voting:

- The voting rules remain unchanged until the Season Finale on Day #100.
- If a character has two incarnations, both from the main and alternative universes, then the poll will be referring to both versions simultaneously.
- Every ten days, we will have a major character up, instead of a nominee. This will serve the purpose of giving you guys something to look forward to for sticking around. Meaning, Days #80, 90 & 100 will be guaranteed to have a big name showing.


Nominations Beyond Day #99:

- We will continue to take nominations for Season 2. The date of Season 2 start is yet to be determined, but won't be too soon after Season 1.
- Season 2 nominations will appear on a separate list with the same nomination rules applying, but every nominee now needs 10 votes to get qualified. To strike some balance between randomness and letting the players nominate, they will be appearing in a random order initially starting Day #101, and not in the order they got nominated.
- A new perk for Season 2 will most likely be added.
- Players are still limited to only one nomination per topic per user. You can still nominate a new character every single day once if you want.
- Any nominated character that remains under 7/10 nominations for five days will be dropped off the nominations list. Everyday, all characters under 7/10 nominations will receive an exclamation mark (!). Once a character receives five marks, they will be dropped.
- Any character to get 7/10 nominations will be in the Safety Zone until a potential further update.
- Every time a character gains an extra nomination on their way to the 7/10 Safety Zone, their (!) counter will reset.
- The Game Master preserves the right to decline any nomination without justifying the reason, although one will be presented for most cases. The Game Master can't denominate or reduce the amount of nominations any character receives under any circumstances.
- The Game Master can not nominate any new characters, or endorse any already existing characters with an extra nomination.

I agree Arthas is overrated, but he is one of the characters to have actually driven the Warcraft story for a while. Nazgrim is just a cute sidekick to the player in WoW.

As for Katrana, she's cool, she was closer to success than her brother and father, and while there was some untapped potential for tragedy with Nefarian turning her into a zombie, they did pretty much everything they could with her, which is not something that can be said about all villains...

I don't actually think he is overrated at all; to be honest I consider him a Deity Tier at least (if I would be cocky and smug enough to go by my own tiering standard.) What I was getting at is that this game isn't about a certain character (Arthas or anyone else) being the ruler we measure with.

I mean from the current Top 5, #5 is my favorite of them all.

7/10, she's cool. Early on when I first read about her I really hoped for some redemption story about how she fell in love with varian or wanted to be a mother for Anduin. Maybe she helps us go against her father and put the blackdragon flight back on the path of good. (Too farfetched I know)

Nah. It's already stated in the rules that the polled character represents all the incarnations of said character. You would expect people at this point to be familiar with this, and newcomers (who are interested in playing the game, not just clicking the number they want and be on their way) to actually be able to read.

Think of how we got The Hero on Day #50, for instance. Who do you think would make for a fun Season 1 conclusion, now that we are approaching it?
