    Goodbye to the Mean Streak

So I know there's people here who have been to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio before. They're taking the mean streak out. I think I've ridden this coaster once when I was a kid and never again. Always made my back hurt. Have any of you ridden it?

    THE LAST RITES
On Friday night, September 16, the opening night of Cedar Point's 20th HalloWeekends, we're saying our final goodbyes to Mean Streak.

From 6 - 7 p.m., guests can take one final trip along the giant wooden structure. Then at 7:30, join in a special closing ceremony as we give "last rites" to the ride and march in procession from FrontierTown to the Dead Rides Cemetery near the front of the park.

The coaster will lie in repose before burial so guests may see him for the last time.

Makes me miss Rolling Thunder. The age of Wooden Roller Coasters is coming down to it's final few.

Cedar Point still has the Gemini left. That's always a fun ride. It has two sets of tracks so the two trains can race.

Just like Rolling Thunder = D I love racing coasters. Such a neat idea.

Now if someone would make a Zombie Apocalypse ride where the cars have water guns attached, and you have to shoot targets (train who gets the most targets wins), then i'd be at theme parks more often. I love interactivity.
