Broken Shores Horde/Alliance themed weapons for transmog

Hello you people who understand the transmog system better than I do!

This is probably a dumb question, but google didn't help me find an answer.
During the Broken Shores scenario you'll get Horde/Alliance themed weapons of all types, but obviously you can only choose one to take with you.
Now I know that for old quests the appearances of all items are unlocked, regardless of which I chose in the quest. But does this work for the new quests too? (Also relevant for some Legion quests I imagine, if there are choices between items for different gear slots). Do I unlock only the weapon types that specific class can wear, or all of them?

Or simply put:
Will it be enough to run Broken Shores once on each Horde and Alliance to unlock everything or will I have to go through on every class to get everything?

Apparently you get all rewards that you can equip as transmogs if you complete the quest, not just the item in your bag.

So basically do it with a warrior.
