So where are the night elves? Well of Eternity?

So where are the night elves? aren't these their worse enemies? the ones that destroyed their glorious empire and sent them into a 10k year long vigil watching for them?

they weren't much involved in the Broken Shore campaign, and the demons aren't going for them either -- or the demons are a bit wary of taking them on again for the 3rd time?
Also I wonder why they haven't gone for the Well of ETernity this time round, and also why haven't the night elves used it's power also to aid in the defense? or does blizzard have something else in store for it and for them.
I'm a bit surprised.. I would have thought they'd be at the front of the battle lines leading everyone. For that matter why are the Draenei so quiet too? they are there tho, with a force in stormwind and the shore, but quiet, and the blood elves are quiet too, .. why are we hearing entirely from the humans again for the alliance? is every other race so useless? Were any of hte dwarven leaders at the broken front? I did see a huge dwarven contingent at stormwind though, only the night elves were absent there.

There is no Well of Eternity anymore; it was destroyed thousands of years ago splitting Azeroth into smaller continents and destroying most of the land masses. The Maelstrom is where it was located. As for why the the Night Elves aren't more involved hopefully they will be getting more focus later on.

erm.. then what was WC3 about then, and why did they keep referring to the well of eternity the demons were fixated on capturing?

illidan saved a couple of vials of the water and remade another well on top of mount hyjal.
you know, there where the big tree is, called nordrassil?

anyway, even that well turned dry thanks to legion attacks.

OT: the night elves are busy dealing with the nightmare.
and blizzard took the leaders they wanted to show off.

The original well was destroyed during the sundering.

Illidan kept 7 vials from the original well and used three to create a 2nd well. After the Night Elves found out Nordrassil was planted over it. The Burning Legion in Warcraft 3 was after the 2nd well, Archimonde basically wanted to rip the world tree out to access what was left of the well of eternity. It's still there in present time.

that makes no sense though, the druids are the ones dealing with the nightmare, isn't it their order's main thing - how come all of the night elves suddenly get involved in the nightmare? for a night elf expansion it seems pretty shitty for night elves, they suck even more , how lame.

or does blizzard do this because they are introducing another group of night elves - the Kalimdor night elves have been pretty lame though, and i'm hearing a lot about nightborne - maybe night elf focus is going to switch from tyrande/malfurion's group to these new nightborne - because to be honest, night elves still seem lame. We are always bailing them out it seems.

That's the CC not the night elves who don't really have a story in Legion aside from Tyrande's cameo in the questline to get the tears of elune and Malfurion being captured. Shandris is just a follower in the hunters class hall or something and she is the general of the night elf army doing basically nothing.

yeah, that's what I thought, it was the CC involved, and the Val'sharah residents, not the Kalimdor night elves, and Tyrande gets a cameo appearance, same with Malfurion, they really aren't much involved here, neither they no the Kalimdor night elves much. Does anyone see anything of the Kalimdor Highborne too? they seem pretty quiet also
