Need help with mission

Hello there! I am a level 31 jedi knight on Balmorra in SWTOR. I am doing the mission "Tactical advantages", and you need to get to a valley protected by mountains. I have figured out that you need to get to another part of the map, and then take the lift up to a resistance camp. There, you just walk on the big road until you get to a long bridge leading right to the valley. The problem is, at the beginning of the bridge, there is a huge gap, and this is not a glitch, the bridge is destroyed, and it is impossible to jump over (I've tried it, and you don't even come halfway over, and then you die from fall damage). How do I get onto the bridge so that I can walk into the valley? I would very muvh appreciate any help, as I've been trying to do this for so long, and tried searching for it on google for just as long.

There are flight paths to get around the bridge. That should be fairly easy to get around once you look. It may mean back tracking a little but the broken bridge should be is no big deal.

There is the Gorinth path flight path and the fields of merkaran. From Gorineth you can almost go anywhere else on the ground IIRC but there are more flight paths to the east of the map as well.

Thank you so much! I already looked at both links you sent, and none of them helped, but your text did. To anyone having the same problem as me, you don't have to walk over the bridge.
