Help - Headset Broke - Need a wireless replacement.

    Hey guys,

I purchased a Soundblaster Recon Omega 3D (http://us.creative.com/p/gaming-head...omega-wireless) headset a couple years ago. About 30 days before its year warranty lapsed, the headset snapped where the headband attaches to the earphone (2 small screws that stripped). I was luckily able to send it in and get a new pair sent to me. Unfortunatley, today, it happened again.

Anyway, now I need a good replacement headset that is (preferably) wireless. Budget is, I don't know, preferably in the $150-200 range, perhaps slightly higher. I might consider purchasing a wired headset if the price difference is quite meaningful.

Or I'm willing to go a different route and try a desktop mic/headphones set up, which I understand is better quality all around - but I wouldn't have a clue on what to look at for that set up, but if I can get a decent set up for around the same budget, please give me some recommendations.

Here is one thing that caught my eye, but I'm not really sure I want to pull the trigger on:
    https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Pe...ennheiser+363d

A pair of Seinnheiser's on sale for $150, from 299. Obviously that doesn't mean much but still, wondering if its worth considering.

or perhaps https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wire.../dp/B003VANOFY ? Logitech as a brand has never let me down before.
    Thanks for your help.

Is on sale right now, you can look at some reviews about it I've heard some mixed things but I've heard some great things so yaknow. But anway the model before it which is basically the same the "Steelseries H Wireless" which you can probably find more reviews for. I don't know why but Steelseries released a second version of the headset you can do some more research into that if you'd like. Sidenote it's only onsale for 10 more hours.

Yea I took a peak at them.

Anyway, I'm really leaning towards a standalone mic/headphone combo if I can find a good combination. A blue yeti is 129.99, so if I wanted to go with something like that, I'd only want to spend 60-80 on headphones, and I'm not sure what kind of quality headphones at that price are.

Perhaps I could spend slightly more on the headphones in this scenario, just got the better quality over all... Maybe a budget of 250-300 cobined.

Edit: Even the subreddit for headsets says you shouldn't buy a headset, lol.

That's not always true headsets are practical for alot of things and generally cheaper for people who don't need extremely high quality headphones and mics. Finding wireless headphones that are decent are expensive tho just a heads up.
