    Screen tearing on screen

I use 2 screens. My Monitor, and my TV. However, when i select the option Duplicate these displays in the screen settings, i get alot of screen tearing on my TV screen. But if i select Extend these screens, all is fine. So what happens that my TV is screen tearing so much when duplicating screens? (Ofcourse i mainly use extend)

'Basicly it mainly happens when i watch a movie. Sometimes its easier to have it on Duplicate, but because of the tearing, im forced to use Extend

You're trying to use screen A's video settings on screen B whilst B doesn't have the same specs as A.
