Just wanted to ask what would be a smarter move to make, i plan on maining prot pally and seeing now in pre legion patch prot does more dmg than retri while soloing daily quests and similar stuff. So i wanted to ask maybe someone know how will it be in legion, should i start with prot artifact or should i take retri and stay with it as long as possible without putting any artifact points?

Well first off, all tanking specs are broken as fuck right now. Now, if you're planning on playing prot at 110, just level as prot. The damage is consistent when pulling multiple mobs, survivability is pretty damn nice, dungeon queues generally will be faster. If you walk around single pulling mobs while leveling, then yes you're gonna be slow as fuck compared to Ret. Otherwise you should generally hold pace with ret mob for mob.
