Cool What is your greatest source of pride in life?

Mine is Binky, my seventeen years old Parrot.

Binky faced some developmental challenges pretty early on. By age 10 he still couldn't ride a bicycle and I remember looking down on him with disappointment. I was frustrated and felt that God might be punishing me for watching porn.

But recently we've been watching some Youtube videos together and he has made some strides. Look at him go!

When I see the look of determination on his face, I really feel like Binky might be able to go on and graduate College someday. I think the fact that my wife has signed him up for the local Soccer league has really given him the drive he needed to succeed in life.

    What about you?

My younger brother. I know how psychologically abusive my parents were when they were financially well, but he had to stay with them when they lost everything to excessive leverage. Though it took him 6 years, he will be getting his BSCS this December and his past 2.5 years have been very progressive including internships with two top supercomputing programs and a job with a non-profit leading the development of unmanned UAVs. Over the years, I have been petrified of his ability to overcome his inferiority complex but graduating and getting into Microsoft can be that stepping stone. I'm happiest that he isn't hiding in the games and is exploring everything else that the world has to offer (no offense intended).
