artifact relics dropping in raids + work in PvP

artifact relics are gems that you put in your artifact weapon. these gems increase the item level of your weapon by like 10 to 50 points (huge!) and give one of your traits an additional rank.

for example: energy trait for rogues: has 3 ranks and each rank increases energy by 10 -> if you put the energy-gem in your weapon then you get 4 ranks resulting in 140 energy instead of 130.

as you can see these artifact relics are extremely powerful.

the problem: some of the best ones come exclusively from raids.
this means that players who raid will have an advantage over people who don't raid in PvP.

Update on this: after winning rated Arenas/BGs you get a box with an item in it...like gear and POTENTIALLY relics.

I hope that all kinds of relics drop from these boxes and that they can be titanforged so they would bring the same stats as a relic dropping in raids.

They've said that relics will be disabled in pvp. Or at least were going to.
