Time to upgrade the CPU & Motherboard!

Hey there. I recently built a PC with some pretty old parts, and I'm looking into upgrading them. My current GPU is an EVGA GTX 950 FTW which is totally fine for right now (Will look into upgrading that within the next month or two), but my Motherboard is an ASUS 96X58D and my CPU is an i7 920. I'm currently using Corsair Dominator GT 12GB (3 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory, and if that must be upgraded as well, then so be it. I already have a Corsair H50 cooler that works extremely well.
I'm very interested in getting a Skylake processor (Looking at the i5 6600k or i5 6500 at the moment..), and I'm hoping someone can link me to a good one + a compatible motherboard.

(I mainly play WoW and Overwatch, and I'd be extremely happy if I could play games such as The Witcher 3 & GTA 5 at 60+FPS.)

Budget: $300-$400 (Maybe $500 if paycheck + tips are kind to me this week!)
