pretty much meaningless, put 13 points in your dps artifact then dump the rest into you main resto artifact

OMG I can't believe all these wannabe Restos here. If you play Resto, play Resto ffs. If you play Boonkin, play Boonkin.
Thats why Blizzard gave us Affinity! Use Feral and you kill everything. If you wanna go slower on DMG and you love Boonkin, choose Boomy Affinity.
I've been leveling with Feral Affinity and its simple and fast. When thats still too slow for you, then play DD and leave the Resto alone!

i am also doing this

and i'm doing fine.

i can solo any rares and group quests. i'm sure other specs can but as a resto specced druid im doing fine

I haven't had any problems either. Also, quite handy when someone else trucks on by and pulls your agro, you can step back and just help them.
