Logitech G502RGB Issue. Maybe 4k monitor related?!

    Hello,

So I have logitech g502 RGB mouse and a logitech cloth mousepad.

Up until a few weeks ago when I got gtx1070 and went 4k I had no issues with it.

Now I get this problem where when I don't use it for a bit and start using it, it's not accurate and has jerky movements.
This is fixed by lifting up the mouse and putting it back down on the pad.
There is no dust as its fairly new and Ive checked the led for blockage on the bottom and thats a non issue.

Need some help figuring this out and it seems to maybe do with the resolution. That or maybe that im using dual monitors now 1080/4k

    Thanks!

Are you connecting it to the monitors usb hub?

Is the monitor connected to your pc via display port?

Connect your mouse directly to your pc.
If this did not resolve the issue:
Open the Device Manager, select your mouse (there could be devices called "HID-conform blabla", these also belong to your mouse) and open the properties.
Under energy options disable the option that windows can disable the mouse to save energy (if the option is not greyed out).

Maduk sounds far more knowledgeable than me.

I just remember reading about issues some people had with devices connected to their displays via USB while also using display port cables included with their display. Something about small voltages being carried on certain non vesa compliant cables. I am probably way off though.
