Fire mage, boomy, or spriest???

For once, I want to attempt to main 1 spec for an entire expansion. Extremely stuck deciding between these 3. I do a combination of pvp and pve, want a spec that is well designed and will do both well.

I generally dislike threads like these, but for overall enjoyment and if you're not gunning hardcore for 3v3, Boomy and Fire has better tools for each situation and can deal with melee a lot better than most casters.

As a spriest you'll have a rough time in 1v1's and if you get trained. They are fairly strong in 3s however with a good comp.


To be honest though, play what you enjoy the most. Fire is mostly direct, melt face burst. Boomy is multidotting with strong single target burst and Spriest is pure multidotting and pressure.
