Does anyone know if the "Mark of Aquos" (the item that spawns an npc, after you kill it you catch drowned mana every cast) should only be used when you are by yourself? Do other people get the drowned mana from the npc, making you receive less, or does it even matter?

Everyone will get drowned mana, the bubbling will lasts for like 2-3 minutes.
Feel free to use the Mark of Aquaos when other players are fishing.
