Always found it pretty hilarious with this mentality. If you can easily heal anyway why wouldn't you heal them? You're just doing yourself and the group a disservice by making the run last longer - it's not like heroics or mythics are hard at this point.

1) It builds bad habits
2) It's a waste of mana to heal people that are literally standing in fire, better for them to die and learn mechanics, than to coast through it.
3) Has nothing to do with difficulty.
