When your artifact weapon's extra doens't work in pvp I bet legendaries are disabled too.

Legendaries, relic trait boosts ( not ilvl provided ) , all trinket benefits outside stats (active/passive) and all items' set bonus are disabled in instanced pvp.

The ilvl from the legendary does scale you up in instanced pvp, but the bonus you get from the legendary doesnt work
