Anyone else in agreement that this is easily the worst area in the entire game? Nothing but corridors of bullshit trash after trash after trash when all you need to do is kill a fist full of things for your world quest.
Is there even another way out other than legging it through to the river exit if your hearthstone is on CD?

IMHO it's one of the best zones in 12 years of the game. I love the outdoor dungeon feel.

I have the one for the Temple of Fal'adora but none specifically for the Ruins where it's littered with Withered and spiders. I did find out about the spider webs just now though so that's much better than having to run through tunnel after tunnel of nothing but both the above mentioned.
Makes me hate the place a lot less.A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.

You can run up the spider webs where you first jump down... they are translucent webs but you can stand on them. They are positioned as ramps that lead up and out.

If you do the quest, the NPC guides you down the webs.
