new pc - looking for suggestions

So its time to get a new PC, and i am hoping to get a bit of advice. I think i have found a PC that suits my needs, but i have considered building my own PC instead. Having said that, i have never built a PC before, not too sure where to go looking for parts, which is why i am posting here. So to start out with some info.

Budget : My budget is 6500 danish kr. which is around 875 € (if possible, i would like to stay under the budget)

Resolution: I'm guessing 1080 p ? Previously used a laptop so not sure which the desired resolution for a desktop setup is

Games / Settings Desired : I primarily play games like CS:GO, LoL, WoW and Civ V. That said, i have a nasty habit of buying games during steam sales and have been able to play most of those games, but not newer releases like fallout 4 or Doom. Ideally, i would like to play those games. Games settings does not really matter to me and playing on low/medium is fine.

Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc): None

    Country : Denmark

Parts that can be reused : None, as i have previously been using a laptop

Do you need an OS? : Yes

Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc) : Need to buy monitor as well as a keyboard.

With that out of the way, i have some additional questions

When looking for a monitor, what should i keep an eye out for ? I've read that certain monitors have chipsets like free-sync or g-sync. Should i be considering this when building a PC ? or is this only for high end gaming ?

For the danish posters, any recommendations of sites i could use to find/buy parts to build a PC or do i order parts through amazon ?

If its any help, i am considering buying an Asus ROG GR6, which is going for around 5000 danish kr. (around 672 €) along with a monitor.

Would be great to find out if i can build something better/cheaper.

    Thanks in advance

See if this works for you. Honestly have no idea about any danish computer shops. You can also look into ordering from Germany or Netherlands.

Asus ROG GR6 is basically a laptop, dont buy it, it's not suited for gaming.

Any reason for the 1060 in that build? The UK price and availability is terrible on all the 10x0 cards, and the RX480 as well come to think of it.

The only one I could find at close to the US price was a Sapphire RX 470 at £170 from Amazon.

Performance difference in WoW between GTX 1060 6GB and RX 480 8GB is huge - 20-25% for 1080p and 10-15% on higher resolutions. It's well worth even the non-optimal pricing. I would change that build a little bit ideally (get a GTX 1060 3GB and 16GB RAM) but couldnt find any good and cheap 3GB versions.

The RX480 is in the most Benchmarks i saw only 5-7% slower in wow against the 1060 on 1080p.

Links? I saw this and this. RX 480 is about 5-7% slower on average (about 10% slower in DX11 games and on par or faster in DX12/Vulkan) but specifically in WoW the disparity is massive.

The UK pricing of the 1060 is stupid though.

I'm going to limp along with my i5 750 and 5870 for now, until somebody sells it at the right price or they make enough to have stock on a semi-regular basis. I had to turn everything to 1 (except draw distance, because you can't see anything with that at the minimum, flying from Dalaran is a blank screen for the entire journey) to get it at a framerate that didn't make me want to throw the PC out the window, but it's playable even if it looks terrible.

In any case I recommend going for the cheapest out of the 1060, 480, or 470. They'll all play WoW at top settings without slowdown. Or rather, if there is slowdown, it won't be the GPU to blame.
