    Looking to build

This sub-forum has always been incredibly helpful in the past and I'm hoping to find that same help again!

My current build was built in early 2014 but it was a budget build and I'm looking to rebuild/build to once again smoothly experience WoW in Ultra.

My budget is somewhere around $900-$1000, I'd really rather not go anywhere above that range. Fortunately, I do not need any peripherals or a network card and my current build has a 120GB SSD that I'll be swapping into the new build - although I may buy a second, larger one to make life easier. I also have a copy of Windows 10 - so I won't need that either.

I do not do too much other than play WoW, Witcher 3, and browse the internet on my PC. Ideally I'm looking for something that will last me well into the future and something with room for upgrades that will inevitably come.

    What are your suggestions?

You would not see much of a boost in performance building a new rig, i am here warning you not to spend a thousand dollars you will be unhappy with the outcome.

    i3 to and i5 and GTX 660 to GTX 1060 - I hope you're joking.

Stop being so dense, we are talking about World of warcraft here. How do you not realize there are huge diminishing returns once you get to a certain hardware level in WoW, and he is at that level with his current rig. Not to mention the proper advice you should have given this person was lower your details to 7-8, 9/10 are terribly unoptimized garbage settings. I wonder how many thousands of dollars people have spent needlessly because of poor advice on these forums, you are not a helpful person you do more harm than good here.

First of all, we are not talking about only World of Warcraft here. Read the OP again. Secondly, I'm not here to dictate how people should play the game. If they want to play on ultra I will compile a build that will give them that, if I cant (budget is too low or whatever) then I cant. And there is no salesman tactics involved also, I simply dont have time to dive into each person situation and give them the best advice (you cant even do in person most of the time), I just answer question they formulated.
