Cooking and Nomi

Hello guys, so I have been giving random meats and fish to Nomi since release, and by now I have learned lots of recipes.

I was wondering if he actually stops taking your meat/fish if said meat/fish is no longer needed to learn anything new or if you have to check that by yourself?

He will probably always let you give him things, but he will also burn food much less often once your cooking skill gets close to maxed out. If you keep an eye on your unlearned recipes tab you can decide for yourself when you might want to stop.
