2nd Artifact Help

I think I may have shot myself in the foot for the second artifact quest. I originally got Ashbringer and wanted to get the tanking artifact next but I'm guessing I need to be in Protection spec to do the quest since I tried as ret and got my ass handed to me.

The problem is I don't have any one handed weapons or shields? What would be the best method of getting a decent one hander and shield for the quest chain?

Talk to Eadric the Pure in your class hall (guy who sells the class order set), he sells basic green items for all specs.... ilvl 740 or 750, don't remember which off-hand.

Edit: ilvl 740, "Blade of the Silver Hand" and "Bulwark of the Silver Hand", 100g each.

This. Exactly what I did when I didnt have weapons for prot.

Easily done it as Ret. Try again, hit it like you mean it!
