Destruction AoE is actually really, really good.

Here's the talents you should use:

T15: RB for Cleave based or ST based. BD if you don't like RB, but SB beats both of these if there are adds on any bosses (most of the time)

T30: Mana Tap is your best DPS increase. You don't need Cataclysm, but if you do take it, only use it when the mobs will last the full Immo duration. RE is there for when you really don't like the feel for MT, but it's not as much DPS.

T45: Demon Skin. Or Shadowfury if you feel like you need an AoE stun.

T60: FnB 90% of the time, and Eradicate only if it's a full ST or two/three mob cleave.

T75: Dark Pact.

T90: GrimSac.

T100: WH or SC.

Here's the thing, FnB and Grimoire of Sacrifice are your go-to talents. there are very very few amount of fights that are pure ST so Eradication, most of the time, does not come in handy. There are many bosses where adds spawn, which is where FnB comes into play. Sac is just really, really strong. It's your best talent for even ST for continuous DPS. Servitude is good for the burst, but that's all it's good for. It pulls ahead slightly, but if there is even any boss that has one or two mobs that stand next to each other, then Sac is better.

CDF is okay, but it only excels in one thing, pure ST. And it fucks up if there are more than 1 immolate on a mob. Then it just does fucking nothing.

How to play Destro in AoE:

1-2 mobs: Wreck Havoc. If RB, double Immo/Conflag on both and start chaining CBs and Incinerates while fitting in the rest of your rotation.

3 Mobs: Wreck Havoc one of the mobs. Cast 1x Immolate on the other two mobs and then Conflag both. With RB this will put up a 2x Immo+2x Conflag on the WH target, and a 1 immo and Conflag on the other two. Chain CBs and cast Incinerate and the rest of your rotation.

4+ Mobs: Literally, spam Incinerate. With Sac, you'll pull 400-600k DPS depending on how many mobs there are. If you know the mobs will live through it all, cast a RoF. But if you know the tank will move or some mobs will die before, then just spam Incinerate. Using WH and CB on over three mobs is just a waste of DPS and you won't pull anything good unless you spam Incinerate.

Oh, and use SB to snipe mobs for more CBs.

And seriously, I can't say this enough. FnB and Sac are insanely good. Even will be on many fights in EN because of just how many mobs there are and will be. Also SB.

One thing about CDF, it's trash if you can't use it through it's full channel. Which will only work on non heavy movement fights or pure ST fights. And if you're a boss that's pure ST with little to no movement, then play Demo and don't play Destro. Really.
