Is Mythic +11 to +15 just for bragging rights until 7.1?

I saw that Mythic + dungeons, for now, cap out at the reward you get from a +10 completion until the next round of mythic raiding; does this mean that if you go for a realm 1st +15, it will be for bragging rights since subsequent chests will just reward you +10 gear? I suppose if that's the case, +15 is somewhat prestigious then since you don't get anymore significant gear boosts as you try to beat it.

+11 doubles your chance to get a max ilevel loot since it also drops +10 loot.
