I think this completely depends on a lot of factors. Single target, you will beat out sin with good luck in rtb. Aoe you will beat them out, or should anyway. Sin will beat you single target if you have bad luck with rtb. They should also beat you on 2-3 target cleave that lives awhile, so raids/mythic+.

Thing about sin is that it's consistant and a lot of people prefer that to the gambling of rtb. Some pull i feel like a god and others I feel like I should spec swap when playing outlaw

I feel like Outlaw Rogues perform exactly how game devs want them to. Pretty strong overall with a lot of rng. If you're unhappy with consistent 250k dps single target with about 830 - 840 ilvl then idk ... I mean Affliction Locks, Brewmaster Monks, Frost DKs, they all kind of need more buffs than Rogues atm. Imo Mages and Hunter are (once again) way too strong at everything. You could probably do pretty damn well with 2 Mages, 1 BM Hunter as dps, I can't think of any other combination that would get close to their clear time. Maybe a good Arms Warrior, which will be suboptimal in some fights because melee.

Two arcane mages and an outlaw rogue for aoe/utility is probably the best comp, or very nearly. Had an alt arc mage running +4/5 with me last night and i couldn't touch his burst dps, easily maintaining 350-400k with anything inside 1min.

Well you're either absurdly bad, or you're lying. There is a lower chance of getting more than 6-10 single buff rolls than getting a 6 proc. That chance exists, but based on your constant moaning, it's happening all the time for you, and apparently, you only.

Poor dps potential does indeed exist, and when that happens i might slide down to the bottom of the top 10 (in a 30man raid).

Now if your outlaw buddy is being beat by you all the time, then he's either bad at playing outlaw correctly, severely undergeared, or running absolutely horrible relics.

If you're ~845-850 you should be top 10 always, and top 5 most of the time. Bad rolls or good rolls. And do you know why? Because YOU control your rolls, and it's up to YOU to play better, not up to RNGeezus.

Your truth is wrong, and you can't see it, even when everyone else tells you their experience is the complete opposite of yours, you still say you're right.
hey do u have a spreadsheet or similar for the best relics? my dps is kinda low and i'd like to check if its due to wrong relics. Thanks!

the fact that we can use cd-s on trash AND on bosses, pretty good

what talents did you choose as outlaw for mythic+ dungeons?

Quick suggestion: For dungeons you should check the overall damage when the run is completed. It doesn't matter what dps you do on each pack and boss, because the overall time is the only thing that counts. Also all DDs will have different CDs ready each fight.

I'm running with a BM and a Havoc as DD in mythic+ and I find that while on many trash packs they often do double or triple my damage we are pretty close in overall with the DH and me leading by a couple of percent in general.

It's also a question of gear when comparing only 3 DDs in a dungeon. The BM is probably so strong, because he got a good legendary, while the DH only has a +leech legendary and I have none.

I finished a +10 within the timer last night. I felt pretty useful overall. Assassination has good boss dps, high single target for priority adds, good sustain cleave.

I didn't log it but I have a video if anyone is interested. Fair warning though, my play is far from perfect and I make a few mistakes.

Thats a terrible idea. Some people hold the notion that the only time they should use cds is on boss fights so they're purposefully not going all out until boss fights even if in reality they could use a cd on a trash pack and it'd be up before boss.

Did HoV+10 as double rogue, ww monk, b dk and hpala, rogue seems pretty strong since they got very consistant damage.

Glad to see rogue competes in mythic+, was worried when I picked rogue over mage that I'd regret it. Seems I'm happy
