G501 or G551?

So, I know the RoG G501 is newer; however its an ultrabook. Its lighter, thinner. However, I have heard it overall has better cooling then the G551; which a lot of reviews of said had heating issues. Im going to be using it to game mainly WoW and Overwatch on; as well as basic things such as Hulu. Its a choice between these two; since Im getting them pretty discounted.

G551 is thicker, and slightly heavier which isn't a problem.

G501 will run me $550.
G551 will run me $650.

I want input on which one I should get. I've heard a few people say the G501; but I want a gamers point of view on the laptops. Does anyone have one of these laptops and use them to game?

You will have to be a bit more precise, if I google these laptops I get a bunch of different models for each type you mention.

The specs are nearly identical, but yea the cooling looks worse on the G551. More heatpipe is better, but also heavier.

so it kinda matters which one we talk about.
