On average (just based on specs), your more likely to find a higher dps warlock than a mage, since 2 mage specs are below all 3 warlock specs.

This. Also the thing is almost every class (except Pally) has at least one strong DPS spec that people could switch too. Frost DK? Go Unholy. Frost Mage go Fire, Sub Rogue go Assassin, and so on and so forth. Warlocks BEST (according to day 1 logs) spec is still in the bottom half of specs and as a class that is DPS only that is horrendous. I am glad I saw the tides shifting and switched from my Destro Lock to a Unholy DK this expansion (also having a blast playing UH).

You can't look at overall data and make any conclusions based on that. In that case enhancement shaman was the best specc in Highmaul simply due to the AoE they were doing on the final boss in there.

You can't look at overall data and make any conclusions based on that. In that case enhancement shaman was the best specc in Highmaul simply due to the AoE they were doing on the final boss in there.

Ask Mr.Robot recently has been shown as incorrect as well in both Gearing, Stat Priority, and Simulated DPS.

SimCraft is still working with half a Dev Team... So it seems we are nearly out of options for getting estimations / theoretical data / information from.

Really dumb on Blizzard's end to "hide" a bunch of mechanics / triggers / procs / scripts in the background that can't be tracked.

Hardcore testing, oldschool reading of the combat log with Warcraft Logs seems to be the only option at this point.

I am currently playing as unholy or tanking as blood in Emerald Nightmare. The main problem with frost is the design of the class in general. Frost relies too heavily on runic power for their dps. While on the other hand specs like unholy the biggest damage attacks come from runes itself. Also unholy are sometimes able waste runic power just for a cooldown to blowit all at one time. A mile away in beta I knew this was a issue and anyone that actually plays the game will know this. But of course the developers dont play the game and this wont be fixed. All they will do is tweek numbers but the core fundamentals of the class is why it is at the bottom. Shame it is maybe the coolest melee dps spec visually and I love seeing frost dks in general lorewise holding frostmorne.

Same problem with pallys, everyone gets a ASHBRINGER. But holy does more dps and the class can heal also. So let me recap DKs and Pallys have the two most known weapons in warcraft lore AND NO ONE IS USING THEM IN ANY CONTENT.

Every single class has a spec that does more damage than all three Warlock specs. For a pure DPS class I'd say that's very wrong.

Sorry to say guys but don't get your balance from W1 rankings on HEROIC mode. It's not the best source of information really, 90% of the logs aren't even uploaded anyways. Wait a few weeks before flipping your shit and calling out classes for being over/under powered. They balance classes around Mythic performance regardless.

well out of the ~7 bottom DPS specs I only have a place in my heart for Frost DK, the other 6 i dont really care for

if they buff Frost DK to at least mid of pack levels, I will be overall satisfied

First of all because it's noxxic, and second of all because some classes' theorycrafters(including hunters and warriors) intentionally put bad/non-optimized APLs/gearsets into the official SimC releases in an attempt to avoid getting nerfed.

Yes and had 6 parses while Fire had 352. Unfortunately you can still do NT spam and Ursoc is the best boss for it.

Stop spreading bullshit please. Hunter theorycrafters just don't care about "all classes sims", they use sims to compare Hunter specs, not MM vs Fire or some stupid thing like that.
