Vantus Runes Recipes, Rank 2

Just curious, has anyone gotten any rank 2 Vantus rune recipes? My guild first cleared it all on normal and I got the rank 1 recipes from each boss. Each recipe says that rank 2 recipies are also boss drops. Our guild then did heroic and I did not get any rank 2 recipes from any bosses on heroic. So my question is did anyone get a rank 2 Vantus rune recipes from any bosses, is it a % drop or am I suppose to go elsewhere? I know some Rank 3's are rep based and also WQ's as I have already gotten Rank 3 Cenarius and Dragons.

I did normal and heroic Nythendra in the same lockout and only looted Rank 1. I also completed the WQ for Rank 3. It's possible you can only get the one rank recipe per lockout.

Rank 1 seems to drop 100%. I also noticed that rank 2 only drops if you've rank 1 learned, but they dont drop to 100%. Just got one rank 2 recipe out of 3 bosses.

I looted Rank 2 recipe for Dragons after killing them on Heroic on the same day. So I guess Rank 2 recipes drop chance is much lower than 100% for Rank 1.

Thanks for the info, seems to contradict the entire point of Vantus Runes being items you use to for bosses you are currently having difficult on when you have to kill it multiple times to get more ranks, unless the entire point was using it for mythic.

What are you talking about ? Crafting rank has nothing to do with the raid difficulty.

You drop the plan in NM, you use it in HM or MM. Rank 2 and 3 craft only make it easier to craft the rune. Nothing to do with how you use it.

And if you need it in NM you can buy the rune.

I looted the first 6 on heroic, and today we did a normal clear and looted rank 2 of them also.
