But then we gonna have to leave cat form and cast every single time we want to heal? Or our regrouth is gonna have insta heals procs like healing touch have?

I would assume regrowth will get HT's functionality with Bloodtalons.

Every talent or artifact ability referring to HT will instead refer to Regrowth.

How is this not extremely and super mega über obvious? "We're losing Healing Touch??? Does that mean Bloodtalons and Predatory Swiftness are gone too????????"

Yeah but the doubt remains in wich way is regrouth gonna work. Because if it's just like it is now, we are screwed. But if they add insta heal procs like HT have, then ok, nothing really changes.

I made a post just for you just above yours. It should answer any difficulties you may have with this minor change.

Basically consider everything you do with HT right now... you'll do the exact same thing with RG after the patch and any all talents/buffs that affect HT will be switched to RG.

Are you sure they didn't just like break two talents with obvious interactions with Healing Touch? Are you sure this isn't completely obvious and not worth asking?

Everything will work the same except your healing will drop by 70%.

Might want to change your affinity to balance now

Both Regrowth and Swiftmend have had their healing increased by quite a bit. Rejuvenation and Healing Touch have had their healing lowered, but not to the same extent as the increase - looks to be an increase overall.

That was based on data mining that the devs had to come out and say was wrong. It was like a 300% buff on regrowth which is absurd. In all likelihood, they intend to nerf feral self healing.

Blizzard did say that, and that statement was right for probably 90%+ of the changes listed in the initial wave of datamining. However, people have tested it on the PTR and said that Regrowth is indeed healing for a lot more than before.

It wasn't a 300% buff though. It was buffed to 350% of spell power from 214%, which is closer to a 40% buff (which isn't even factoring in the HoT, which was slightly buffed as well). It also heals for more than Healing Touch does on live as long as you're not casting it back-to-back.

The changes I mentioned above are definitely active on the PTR right now.
