So I had done Mythic DT and got a NL level 2 key,
Just finished the dung in a pug with atleast 15 minutes still on the clock (great run got a mythic 4 warforged ring)
But the leader had put his keystone in the thingie and i still have mine and didnt get one
Do I need to do NL level 2 again and this time use MY keystone? Or do i need to do a normal mythic dung and hope to get a keystone.

your keystone is good until you use it; you need to do NL+2 using your key to upgrade it. You can do as many runs as you want with other folks' keys, though.
ed: the chest is based on highest level completed that week; it doesn't matter if it was your own key or not.

Your weekly chest reward is based on the highest run you've done - doesn't matter if you have even used your keystone
