Yeah, it's a lottery. And with mage, rogue, lock and hunter you have three tickets, while priests have only one.
That and the fact that "historical", especialy mages seems to have a hidden buff called "developers darling".

I don't know why, but ppl seem to forget that Shadow was at its strongest in t11, not in t12 or t13. We started Cata extremely weak, then got buffed in 4.0.6 (like a month into Cata), became gods for 3 days, then got nerfed, but still remained borderline OP for the rest of t11. In t12, we were still the best caster overall, but Mages and Locks were much closer. In t13, we got outscaled quite hard by Fire Mages, Arms Warrs, Demo Locks, SV Hunters and Legendary Rogues. Sure, we were still gods of multidotting, but we were middle of the pack on singletarget, assuming equal skill and gear.pretty sure the only time shadow hasn't had a hybrid tax were patches 4.2 & 4.3.
I do agree that Cata was the only time when Shadow didn't have any kind of "hybrid tax" though.
They're (short for They are) describes a group of people. "They're/They are a nice bunch of guys." Their indicates that something belongs/is related to a group of people. "Their car was all out of fuel." There refers to a location. "Let's set up camp over there." There is also no such thing as "could/should OF". The correct way is: Could/should'VE, or could/should HAVE.
