Rubbed with a mixture of brown sugar,cloves,and maple syrup, then slow baked for 5 hours at 300F. About 3 hours in you add some pearl onions and some carrots to the pan. So good.

Does nice, crispy bacon count? Give me that with a side of eggs any day, I've never liked the texture of ham.

I'm not that keen on ham, I don't mind the simple, boring, waffer thin cuts of it

Ham exists in no other form than bacon. I refuse to believe there is a food that isn't made 10x better with the addition of bacon.
