Toothpaste Taste.... does it matter to you?

Someone was talking on the radio about this today, and said he can't stand Colgate...... I was thinking it was a crazy topic for a sports radio show, but will fit in just fine with all the crazy people on this forum.

1. I use whatever is available..... I happen to have Colgate, so I use it..... but whatever.... I don't care.
2. My wife will only use Crest ... says it is the only one she likes
3. My kids have one with a green gel mixed in. Aquafresh? Maybe.... Anyway, they like that one for the taste.

I figure I can handle any brand as far as taste goes, and most of them taste like some kind of mint, anyway.

Yeah, I like the kind that has no fluoride. Peppermint or Wintergreen flavored.

Nah, in fact I generally go with the Arm and Hammer brand with baking soda and peroxide. I like to feel like I'm actually cleaning my mouth, not giving a Gummi Bear a blowjob.

I use a special brand (Parodontax) that has a mixture of herbs and salt in it.

Mint is always a winner, but I like my Colgate with the little breath strip bits in it lol. Mostly since it doesn't have that horrifying sweetener aftertaste.

I like the mint or bubblegum flavored ones, but apparently you can get all sorts of flavors, my mother-in-law bought bacon flavored toothpaste for my dog.

(Granted, I don't brush his teeth, hard dog food takes care of it & the vet says his teeth are fine)

I don't really mind the taste of different toothpastes (except a German one I just couldn't get used to). But the amount of foam... I nearly vomit when I brush my teeth with most regular toothpastes because of the foam, and it made me hate brushing my teeth.

So I use Zendium, which is apparently only sold in Europe. Tastes like toothpaste though. Pretty standard, no?

I don't really care, usually just buy a box of several tubes of whatever major brand is cheapest every year or so when I run out.

Lol. Well, I have a theory, at least for myself. I generally can't stand having anything plastic or inedible in my mouth. Holding a pen between my lips is bad enough. Getting my hair caught in my mouth. The thing I had to bite down on when having my teeth X-rayed. It's not as bad if I'm also holding it in my hand, I guess it's just a feeling of choking.

I use Clinpro 5000. It's actually pretty good tasting, and leaves less of an "overly powerful" taste in my mouth.

I like unflavored toothpaste. I don't like sugaring up my tastebuds just to encourage me to brush my teeth.

Mostly I look for fluoride and if it's on sale, brand and taste is secondary.
