Voidform Tentacles gone

Anyone? Is it just me? I went over 30 stacks and no tentacles at all.

This is sad.

In beta we had crazy cool tentacles.

Then live we got 2 tentacles at 15 stacks only, wich isn't much.

Now they are just gone?

For good?

Hope this is a bug or I'll re-roll.

yes I totally will. Theme is everything for me. And Legion was suppose to be the Xpac for class theme and legion. Every class got many new animations to add to the theme. And yes I love cthulhu.

Sure it could be false/trolling, since he got his ticket replied to suspiciously quickly and got an immediate answer, but if it's true it's depressing.

Maybe they simply botched a fix to the giant tentacle bug that happened when VF ended at 15 stacks...

This morning I logged to do some things in my class hall before work and there were three shadow priests DPSing the dummies and all three had tentacles all around. I noticed because I had the feeling that the tentacles only appear at higher stacks and it's difficult to get very high stacks with the dummy. So, at least in Europe, it seems to be fine.

Yeah they nerfed the tentacle visual in beta or alpha because some people got triggered from watching too much japanese adult stuff.

Right if that's the case report it I am sure if blizzard get's mass reports about it they will fix it soon. I already sent a bug report.

I'm sorry what? They changed a visual because a tiny group of weebs were reminded of hentai movies and got wood during void form? That doesn't sound like a real thing at all. Did they remove all Prepubescent white human children models from the game too? Probably more of those in animated japanese porno than tentacles :/.

OT - they seem pretty normal to me, toning it down I don't think is a terrible thing.

Honestly shadow priest does not have much in the way of animations to begin with hence why he confuses me on how such a thing slipped them by unless it was intentional and if it was this confuses me even more.

Oh and the reason why they lowered it in alpha/beta is that true? What the hell? Man people sure do ruin things for others. >_>

I don't remember if they explained what was the official reason, but during alpha there were many comments about disliking 'hentai tentacles' or generally disliking the idea of sprouting tentacles.

The baffling thing is that Blizzard promoted void form tentacles as one of the main attractions when they promised new awesome shadowform visuals. They already nerfed them, if they remove them completely they will basically go backwards.

In my opinion they should enforce the new class fantasy, not damping it to make it 'mild' because of complaints. Glyphs should cover that for those who want 'subtlety'. There are not enough tentacles and old god inspired abilities for my tastes.

Agreed considering the pure fact that we are carrying around the claw of an old god. I am willing to think this is a bug considering the fact that it's not in the hotfix notes.

Around their body, the ones from Void Form and not the trait. I hope I was not imagining things, but it caught my attention because of that, all three with them.
