    Stat Weights (Destro)

I have seen stat weights on Icy Veins but I want to use them in Ask Mr Robot, but AMR says to not use normalized stat weights (aka where Int = 1.0 and other stats are based on that scale).

So I am looking for stat weights that AMR expects where

    Int = 5.02 means 1 point of int = 5.02 DPS increase.

I'm from Ask Mr. Robot. The reason we suggest not to normalize them is that our gear rankings use actual simulation results for items with procs (like trinkets). So if a trinket is worth 10,000 DPS, our own stat weights are meant to be in line with those results. For example, if Int is worth 1 instead of 10, it would be 1/10th as valuable, so an item with a proc would be heavily favored. Does that make sense?

In general, make your top stat worth around 10, and you'll be in the ballpark. So you can usually multiply normalized weights by 10.

I ran a couple of simulation tests on the weights for a generic character. You might want to do this for your own character, in case you have different talents. Or tell me your character and I can run it for you. I used the weights to find upgrades for Heroic EN, and tested the results on that.

AMR's weights do more dmg in both ST and AoE than the ones on IV.

    IV ST Results: 331k http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/simula...d264449385dd6b

    AMR AoE Results: 445k http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/simula...89ad136d660f0e
    IV AoE Results: 435k http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/simula...74929b9b01a654

Hi zoopercat, i have a question...

For destruction warlock i see three popular stats weight:

    AMR (auto): INT 9.86 HASTE 7,72 MASTERY 7,58 CRIT 6,15 VERSATILY 5,78
    ICY VEINS: INT 1 HASTE 0,9 CRIT 0.82 VERSATILY 0,77 MASTERY 0.6
    NOXXIC: INT 9.02 HASTE 7.52 CRIT 6.02 VERSATILY 4.52 MASTERY 3.02

I don't like mana tap and life tap usage but AMR robot simulator uses a base character with mana tap and channel demonfire, and AMR stats use mastery as third stats, but i though that critical is better (according Icy Veins and Noxxic).
I prefer Reverse Entropy as second tier talent and Havoc/Soul Conduit for last tier talent.

So... if i use GoService, i should go for AMR, IV or NOXXIC?
And if i want use GoSac?

    Help

AMR has some very wierd math going on. I don't understand why it keeps putting mastery first.

Yes I noticed that as well. Would you be able to provide any clarity on that by chance Zooper?

@Shodan30 @Atreyis You can try to sim other weights and see if they do better, like I did. But so far, our weights are beating out all other sources, like I showed above.

Avalonmaster: you can get your own weights if you want. Go here: http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/simulator/run

Change the sim type on the right from 'single run' to 'gearing strategy' - run that and you'll get weights custom to YOUR setup. If you give me your character, I can run them for you as well.
