How good are the static stat trinkets?

For example I have a 850 Titan Forged Arcane Defender's Badge trinket: 1233 Str & 932 Haste

Almost every trinket list I see fails to mention these kinds of trinkets.

I can't answer your question definitively, but it used to be that if an item had a single secondary stat, you got less "bang for your buck" than if it had two (a form of diminishing returns, I guess). Looking at the value of haste you quoted for an 850 item, that principle seems still to apply.

Would highly recommend simming it with it equipped and an alternate equip.

Most of them are better then any proc equivalent of similar (sometimes higher) ilvl. In terms of raw HPS... that does not mean that the utility on some other non static trinkets aren't better.

I am personally using 855 naglefar fare and 840 chrono shard and couldn't be happier right now.
