Ursoc Mythic Tanking

Hello folks,

anyone here have done Ursoc Mythic as a tank? How do you deal with the debuffs - is it like:

Tank 1 - Overwhelm 1
Tank 2 - Rend Flesh 1
Tank 1 - Overwhelm 2
Tank 2 - Overwhelm 3
Tank 1 - Rend Flesh 2
Tank 2 - Overwhelm 4

And so on?

Do you use 3 tanks and if so, do you keep the Images near the boss for the cleave?

Images do fuck all damage. Swinging for about 100K, according to our prot pally. They should ALWAYS be kept on top of the boss for cleave - if they don't die before the next roar goes off, you're fucked. You hit them and cleave onto the boss.

As for debuffs, our tanks went:

Tank1: Overwhelm 1-2.
Tank2: Rend flesh 1.

Then switch. So one tank takes 2x overwhelms while the other takes 1x rend, after each combo of 3 hits, switch around so the rend tank (whose debuff should have fallen off) takes 2x overwhelms, and overwhelm tank (whose debuff should have fallen off) takes 1x rend.

You'll need to have your co-tank set to focus for it to work right. It's purposely annoying, but you'll never miss a taunt swap again

from prot paladin forums. basically taunt after every single debuff he does. what you described in the op is accurate. nightmare images do little damage. they're only there to fuck you when he roars really.
