    Mythic + Dungeon Rewards

Why would a mythic+ dungeon that has a timer that is 50% longer have the same reward of 2 peices of loot?

IE. Maw taking 24 min and most of the other ones taking 34-40 min???

Do you think you could pro-rate the rewards? 1 item per every 8 min of timer?

Or like actually do something to think about balance?

You had d3, where you spent 2 years balancing greater rift speed, mob density etc. Then you just throw a similar system into WOW and forget everything you learned from D3?

What? I feel stupid for responding but what?

Are you moaning because times are different for shorter and longer dungeons?

Please go run Halls of Valor or Black rook hold and complete it as if the timer was for Maw. There is a reason Maws timer is so low - the speed at which you clear the place is a joke.

You get loot based on performance relative to a set clear speed for the dungeon, this time amount doesn't matter in the rewards. Yes it makes some dungeons more worthy to clear but at some point you need other piece of gears than the ones looting in these dungeons.

You missed his (admittedly weird) point. He's complaining that it feels unfair that you can do Maw in 24 minutes and get the same amount of loot that someone gets from HoV in 35 mins.

    Short response: Who cares?
    Long response: See short response.

The issue is that its 50% as effective to bother running anything but MAW loot per hour wise. its why most pug groups are looking to carry MAW for chests etc. And why no pug on gods green earth really wants to do Arcway or COS.

It's just strange (and not well thought out) to make the rewards the same regardless of how long it takes you in the dungeon by design.

its not whining, its asking why there isnt a solution to balance the rewards of basic mythic plus dungeons. They normalized the reward, but didnt normalize the time needed to get that reward.

There is plenty of reason to run the other ones too, specifically, particular loot.

There is people willing to carry arcways for chronoshard farming etc.

Thought most people (healers)just wanted to run Maw for a chance at healing trinket since that and Wardens are the only 2 which have one with a nice proc. Plus 3 bosses vs 5 means better chance? plus Maw is very easy to get to. And does not have any real hard fights(at least up till Mythic 6 and I could forsee that extending quite a few levels)

The maw farm was purely for artifact points or a chance at a legendary since it was less than 10 minutes to clear and 3 chests which gave the most efficient way to farm that first legendary.
