    So how is it pronounced?

My first name is the oh so simple Ben or Benjamin.
It is the last name that tends to give people on this side of the pond trouble, but I won't share it here.

Ya I'd likely name one of my kids Loki, and the other Artemis.

Valkyrie is an odd one since that's a group of angel-like individuals not a singular name for a deity.
    Let's get 1 thing straight, I'm not

They were also big on soul dualism - the belief that multiple souls can inhabit the same body.

And it's only odd until you get to see what someone can do after several months of martial spear training.

This, to me, seems like yet another thread started by someone working for the alphabet agencies, trying to collect information from innocent forum users. I'm not falling for it.

I believe we're more than the sum of our parts and its ignorant to think otherwise. There is an unknown spark that is sentience. Call it whatever you want but it certainly exists. Soul does make me think religious but it needs a name and that fits it. I also believe in the spirit which in my believe is similar but separate from the soul. However I also subscribe to the philosophical idea that the universe did not beget consciousness, but instead consciousness beget the universe and the only thing that is actually exist and above all else is consciousness everything else is just a series of illusions which are an attempt comprehend existence.

What's ignorant is to come up with stories to explain something science can't yet. We are the sum of our parts, and nothing more. We just can't explain all of those parts, namely our brain, completely yet.

I think it's (much) more common in German speaking regions than anywhere else, especially with this spelling.
