Now that we're coming closer to the election and it's less than 3 weeks away I thought it would be interesting if people on the forum took the "I side with" test. Rather than political compass this test will tell you what candidate you side with on certain issues. Keep in mind the candidate you are most compatible with may not be the one you're voting for.

My results were that I would find Gary Johnson most favorable, which is what I expected since if I absolutely had to pick a party to identify with I would be a libertarian.

I'm pretty well screwed this election.
I am for/want
Pro-choice.
Gay marriage legalized.
Marijuana should be legalized federally.
Fair Tax implemented.
Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid privatized.
Money that was being spent on Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid programs to be shifted to infrastructure.
Military spending to increase to 3% of GDP.
Affordable Care Act repealed.
Health Insurance should be able to sell across state lines.

Well this is awkward...
Apparently, being tough on illegal immigration instead of rewarding it makes me a Trump supporter, despite the fact that I hate pretty much everything else he stands for.

Im kinda surprised Trump is this high. But i mean clearly nobody can seriously believe you should pay for college tuition of immigrants without legal paper? Canada doesent. Healthcare is another thing entirely. Yes the healthsystem should save anyones life first and wonder about the cost later(single payer system). That goes for illegal immigrants, people on vacation etc. Public doctor are paid to save lives, the paper work is secondary to that and they get paid when ever that person is a citizen or not.
I also believe Refugee should be screened as best as possible and only take the person in the most danger with the most possibility to be useful member. Family with young childrens, childrens without parents or relative, young single women, etc. You know common sense my country already apply anyway.Last edited by minteK917; 2016-10-12 at 08:20 PM.

I'm not american, but stood and did the test. There were about 5 questions that I didn't know what the deal was so I stood and read a bit about that. So, with that, my results
