Looking for advice on Gaming Laptop

Hi!

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I do like to game from time to time.

My MacBook is good and all, but (obviously) not good enough for games. It plays WoW perfect on medium setting and I'm happy about that.
I don't really care about high setting, medium is just fine for me.

But I want something now that can handle almost every game (like Doom or others) on medium settings, and I'm willing to switch back to Windows for gaming.

I was wondering if you guys could guide me into making the right purchase of a gaming laptop, something not too expensive (and with a good trackpad). I know absolutely nothing about hardware.

ofc there are a lot more you can choose from but this should give you a basic idea of the hardware needed.

Also going to make the semi obligatory remark that if you go desktop you get better bang for your buck seeing you already have a laptop you can use for general usage.
