Switch to sub?

I'm currently playing sin and enjoying it, but I've read numerous times that sub will pull ahead at higher gear levels (especially with the legendary boots).

Is it worth making the switch now and investing AP into the spec? (I've got none atm). Also, should I set the loot specialisation to sub in case a legendary shows up? (still don't have one Q_Q).

I know it's speculative and what not, but due to the AP system I wouldn't want to have to switch later on and grind out again.

What are you guys planning on doing?

Im about to hit 27 on assn, then I'll have all dps traits in the tree- debating what to do after. I have Sub and Outlaw at 22, thinking it's time to dump into sub.

I'm planning on getting sin to 27 and then dumping in sub. I've got Outlaw to 24 or so as I find it better for world content in my current gear set-up.

I'm in the same boat OP. I've grown attached to rolling the bones and am currently experiencing commitment issues about switching to another spec.
