sick of bad dps

hey, I'm having issues in heroic/mythic raids with low dps and I'm gonna get replaced if I cannot fix it. any advice welcome.

There is a Fix My DPS thread stickied at the top of these forums, also you need to link logs. Looking at your characters gear isn't enough.

Are you using pots? also what is your dps on single target and on aoe?

Well, your gear is good, your talents are correct. Although your execute damage is extremely low, which leads me to believe you're not utilizing massacre correctly. I'd try using Carnage instead.

He isn't asking your opinion on what spec to play. He wants to improve the one he is playing.
So either give advice or just keep quiet.

Not much we can do without logs, but your haste seems low for your ilvl. I'm 20 ilvls lower then you but my haste and mastery are close to yours.
Also enchant your neck with a Legion enchant. Pretty sure they are a dps increase over the old ones, eventho it isn't haste.

I'm offering valid advice that would improve his situation as a player...

Such as "if your class has multiple DPS specs, play the one that does the most damage"

Not a difficult concept to grasp. Although Fury will be in a better position in 7.1 (this coming week) so this whole post is kind of irrelevant.

Hey guys,

Sorry for hopping on OP's post but the fix my dps thread doesn't seem very active, well there are many question but not to many answers... anyway, My good friend artémyss (My English is better than hers that is why i am posting this for her, but she is sitting next to me ) DPS seems low compared to her ilvl.
After last night's raid she actually said to me "I'm sick of bad DPS" so this shouldn't be too off topic.
i was wondering if someone could look at some of our logs and see if she is doing anything wrong... her gearing and artifact path should be good ... and we can't seem to find out what the problem is ... she is playing Fury here is a link to her armory:

Last night's logs on our first kill of Illginoth and Dragons:

She only cast Rampage FIVE times. She must've spent half the fight rage capped, it's the only spender we have outside the execute phase. Her Enrage uptime is 24% because of this. 75% of the fight she's spending it at half-effectiveness. That will slaughter her DPS.

In our last kill, my uptime was 80%+ (https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports...-done&source=8) - Legendary ring helps

8 minute fight and she only cast execute 9 times. It's like she forgot to execute after the first 10 seconds of sub-20%. A shedload of the artifact's bonuses are built around execute.

She's still using Carnage on progression, the point where Massacre is even better. With a 2 minute execute phase her DPS should skyrocket after 20%

She died, which obviously doesn't help, but she peaks at 240k dps during Heroism which is incredibly low. It's possible she has base rotational problems:

Bloodthirst > Raging Blow > Furious Slash > Bloodthirst > Repeat - Use Rampage when it lights up and you're not already enraged.

In the execute phase, her rotation should be Execute > if crit: Rampage, if not: Execute > Use Raging Blow to keep Rage up. Stack cooldowns.

Tell her to try and get a Faulty Countermeasure of Spiked Counterweight - both are exceptional. Nature's Call is a POS.
