Discussion of moderation is not allowed, but for a quick answer, I apologize for the usage of nonsensical but it was the best term I could think of.
The thread topic was fine, but you gave no information about your culture or anything to start off with aside from that face is bad in it. The more correct way to word it would of been please give more information if you're going to start off a thread, rather than just a quick blurb. Usually it leads to a more constructive and enjoyable thread than just a quick statement which leads to derailments of people just questioning the original post and joking around.
