I'm a casual player.
Yes, I may join in the odd raid. I have just bought Legion and subbed for 60 days.
What is the easiest, least rotation RANGED spec.
Also, what ranged spec like this has good survival?
#FilthyCasual - I know.

Just because you aren't playing much doesn't mean you have to play something so simplistic - ranged as a whole are generally far easier any way. Why not pick something you can learn over time?
Probably MM hunter.
Frost mage is the easiest spec to play at the moment.
I really wouldn't say that since you need to learn your range from the boss and change your playstyle depending on it for optimal perfomance since you want Flurry to catch up to your Frostbolt when you proc it. Beast Mastery Hunter is boringly easy as usual. It's literally 4 spells on a priority list. You could even macro it.
Pretty much all classes in WoW are pretty damn easy to learn now so dont worry about it
Id say MM hunter from my exp. So simple but so good.

Why not pick something with a slight learning curve? wont that make you more likely to stick at it?
For me MM hunter with most passive ability talents.
MM hunter is harder then BM hunter. Not that MM is hard, but it does have a little more complexity to it then BM does.
Hunters are very mobile, especially BM.
BM is by far the easiest spec to get into raiding with
Doesn't get any simpler than BM hunter. There's still a little bit of work with MM.
that would be ele sham, but they really fucking suck.
BM hunter.
Or maybe I'm only saying that because I over complicated MM by adding like three extra abilities to my rotation via talents.
