    The 870 Gnarled Root is a 1813 point downgrade compared to the Spiked Tongue for you;

    But actually a 1852 point upgrade over your 860 Tirathon's Betrayal.

    So use both the Root and the Tongue.

    Think everyone would appreciate if you'd stop spreading misinformation. You have no idea how those "points" were generated.

    Cheers.

    nor does anyone know how your numbers are generated. But somehow your information is correct, and theirs is 'misinformation'

    A lot of people know, just because you haven't been paying attention does not mean that no one knows and it's a secret that I keep for some reason.

    So once again rather than help someone you just drop in another non helpful arrogant comment. Why reply at all if you have no intention of helping?

    usually a good advice, but it will only help so much in his situation. oakhearts would be me go to choice. although naraxas has great potential (sim results) it suffers from diminishing damage the closer you have to stand to your target. and as you cannot maintain 20yard range always, oakhearts should provide a bigger dps gain. you might get unlucky in addfights where it keeps proccing on low hp adds and you cannot benefit of the full dot, but ild still pick oakhearts over naraxas on almost every encount in EN.

    if youre talking about dungeons, get something better like statsticks from wqs.

    Considering how brokenly overpowered Mastery is for MM, why are you even asking this question? You're losing a crapton of mastery for what exactly?

    Simming by 1 trinket each time, "base" is without any trinkets. Not the most recent sim, so results may vary a bit.

    it would make more sense to sim each combination together for possible interactions than to do one at a time

    regardless, OP go naraxas + oakheart

    tirathon is trash

    And then you have times like with Twisting Winds where the sims said it was amazing while it was actually shit. The sims were overvaluing it by large quantities. Sims are only as good as what goes into them.

    And that was fixed, like a few days after the raid opened and people found out that the trinkets had been mega nerfed.

    Heaven forbid people actually use forums to ask questions!

    Tongue isn't as powerful when you can't get 20 yards from your target, like on Ursoc for example.

    You can absolutely maintain 20 yards on Ursoc, as you can on most bosses in EN. So Tongue would be pretty good for all bosses in this raid. There are only a few instances, for example on Elerethe's drop and gathering storm, where you have to briefly stack but that shouldn't affect Tongue's damage by that much.
