    Did someoen know`s how to call those wesetrn pants uppers?? I know, there is a special nane for it, but I can`t remembe...

    I think it's "chaps" what you are looking for. It comes from the word "chaparral" which means brush. You'd wear them as protection as you ride your horse through the brush so as to protect your cloth pants.
