rclootcouncil works fine for me, there were no changes in 7.1 that affect it, as far as i can tell

It has many many bugs where it has screwed up my guilds loot to a point we stopped using it.

The addon is having next to no problems here and most likely with everyone else. People wont use broken addons just reconfigure it and it should work
These day's Im washed, playing VRchat instead.

We are using BigDumbLootCouncil. We used to use RcLootCouncil but we had many problems with it not popping witndows for everyone etc. BDLC works fine and much better than RCLC imo.

RC Lootcouncil did have some bugs that drove me crazy but recently it has been running smoothly (and I've found it better to use as master looter than I had done before.
Maybe you should give it another go
