    UI/addon setup

Has anyone got any advice on UI/addon setup for spriest? After addons like enemy grid being removed I realised how badly my setup is for dotting and is a bit painful.
This is how mine currently looks: https: //gyazo.com/b28b44da6d77e7f248e668c81364f53f
They move around a lot as well.

Do you have a picture of your whole UI? That seems to be a zoomed in area.

I can see you're using ElvUI so that's a good start.

Here is my UI which I can help you setup if you're interested:

I'm at work or else i'd submit my UI for judgement however 1 thing I would recommend as just a small quality of life change is a WeakAura for your Shadowy Apparitions. I have one that tracks the number of ghosts out and how much insanity you will gain from them. Not a big deal but it's a neat little thing.

Twintop's Insanity bar actually calculates them into potential insanity gain as well.

Yeah here's my whole UI: https: //gyazo.com/aa39344b535a85e3cb0a5f5d47b7d27e

What I mean is I'm having an incredible amount of difficulty with dotting things and managing the dots and swapping quickly and effectively with void bolt after losing grid addons, that's what I'm struggling with.

What UI are you using? Can i also have those auras above and below your player frame?
    It looks so clean.

Well if I were you I'd start from removing unneeded addons like MSCT, removing unneeded stuff from your panels and removing dat healing done window... I fail to understand how you operate with such UI, really. It reminds me of this: http://quest.by/mages/dm/dm6.jpg No wonders you have troubles with multidotting stuff...
No more time wasted in WoW.. still reading this awesome forum, though

He's using ELVUI, although he modified it heavily. And the auras are posted in the weakaura thread IIRC

Aaaaaand this is why I didn't want to post my entire UI. I have the block of spells because I want to and because on some classes I fill it. I play more than priest. Having some stuff in the corner isn't what's stopping me from dotting effectively, having 20 nameplates all clumped up on top of each other at the top of the screen is :/
Well I don't really wanna play wow if I have addons that I don't like the look of. The small amount of stuff that doesn't overlap other things isn't what's hindering. Although a number of stuff gets hidden in raids.

I'm using Elvui (not modified actually just made some customization to placements + actionbars being hidden).
    My WA's are here.
Bottom bar is XIV Databar, really ties the whole UI together nicely imo.

Ehh I wouldn't worry about them too much, if your UI works for you, then it works. Obviously having a block of actionbars isn't preventing you from multidotting, nameplates are. Honestly your best bet is to get KUI or Tidy Plates. They seem to stack a bit nicer.

Well switched to it, tried to fiddle with it a bit, still seems like a clusterfuck as soon as enemys get near each other, they move so much. It's a long way away from any kind of grid :/ https: //gyazo.com/ddab19e9749658f0139cc4a008c4150e

Unfortunately not a whole lot you can do about it. Maybe shift the dots to the side instead of on top? Fairly sure you can do that with offsetting.
