WoW App Account Ban/Suspension Notice w/expired time

Anyone else have this happen? I tried logging into the app to talk in guild chat and it said my account was suspended or banned or under review. My game time was expired and I checked and was able to add time and now access the app.

Sounds to me like they only programmed it to say the account was suspended/banned rather than saying if you're out of game time. What's the problem?

If your gametime is expired, you cannot use the app for gchat.
The message is just "general" for any way locked accounds, either due to the expired gametime or suspension.

That is scared the hell out of me and was pretty unnecessary. With all the stuff the devs are capable of couldn't they just program it to know I'm out of game time?
